How did ReNew Life Formulas Begin?
Born in 1953, Brenda Watson suffered for years from her own personal health issues before discovering holistic and natural healthcare remedies. Her subsequent rise back to health inspired her to share her knowledge with others and as a result she became a licensed colon therapist. She then went on to open her first five natural health care clinics in 1993. Her focus? To provide internal herbal cleansing, detoxification, nutritional counseling, massage therapy, acupuncture and colon hydrotherapy to her patients.
Already armed with the knowledge that natural herbal therapies are both effective and safe, Brenda came to realize that there weren’t many quality products that she could recommend for her patients to support their digestive health. Thus Brenda began to formulate her own special supplements, and in 1997 launched ReNew Life Formulas.
Where is ReNew Life Formulas Today?
ReNew Life Formula’s reaches more than 3 million people per year through retailers and consumer education. Facilities based in Boulder, Colorado and Ontario, Canada help to keep the product line growing and distributed across the world.
Today, Brenda is both a Doctor of Naturopathy (N.D.) and Certified Nutritional Consultant (C.N.C.) and serves as the President of ReNew Life Formulas and Advanced Naturals. She consults with Medical Director Leonard Smith, a general, gastrointestinal and vascular surgeon, to continue their pioneering research and product development. Dr. Smith has himself studied functional nutrition, exercise, chelating, stress management and the close relationship between mental, emotional, and physical health.
Additionally, Brenda works alongside Dr. Joel Murphy, a holistic veterinarian in practice for more than 25 years. He is the founder of The Animal & Bird Medical Center in Pal Harbor, FL. Dr. Murphy has authored 112 articles and 12 scientific papers, completed four books on pet care and continues to teach at veterinary conferences.
ReNew Life Formula’s product line is both diverse and cross functional. Their products include cleansing and detoxification products, weight management, fiber and children’s supplements, probiotics, digestive enzymes, fiber bars, functional food and pet supplements. Renew Life is best known for its Ultimate Flora product line which has won awards, most recently the winner of Better Nutrition Magazine’s 2010 Best of Supplements Awards.
